True, but this is only an example. Tomorrow, in my break from writing lab reports, I will create a full-sized treatese on the nature of evil , for increasing of bloging.

Possibly the day after tomorrow. Turns out that Five (Five! what is the world coming to!) is showing VOyager during their daytime schedue, thus distracting me from work rather a bit.

Yes they are, which is odd to say the least! Does this mean 5 have the terrestrial rights to all the Star Treks?

Not like beck in my day, when the whole family would gather together around an old CRT telly and oggle TNG at 6, and when everyone moaned when the snooker was on.
Damnation! I'm only 20 and I'm a grumpy old man already!

Yes I remember that. What happened to all the good shows that were on BBC2 at six - that has completely disappeared now - TNG, Buffy, Sliders etc etc. Damned BBC!

I still need to see more of sliders. That and the promising but ill-timed Seven Days.
C'mon Beeb! Get off your colective arses and buy Galactica! And whilst you're at it scrap some sports and double Dr. Who's budget.

The rant on Evil, by the way, is up on my Bebo blog. As it is rather ranty, and to further inflate my page views and hence self-importance, I'm keeping it there.

I too remember fondly the BBC2 6-7.30 slot, there was always something decent on (in England anyway, Scotland got shafted with Gaelic stuff on a Thursday) but no, it made way for dross. BBC's being going down hill since they didn't pick up the rights to Stargate SG-1. Though I believe they showed all of Sliders and Seven Days*.
*Which they could have continued, by making edgy political conspiracies of how the President didn't allow them to go back...

I remember those heady days ,when Star Trek was on every day, and followed on Thusdays by Buffy.
Now they don't even show the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. What's up with that?

I think they wore out the tapes.
I will also quote myself regarding E4 and Friends: "How can I miss you if you won't go away!?!?"
And Frasier seems to have caught Ninjaitis. Frasier: I assume you pounced? Niles: Like a ninja! By the time I had finished with him, Olga could see I was a far better critic than that arrogant poseur.
