'dows isn't so bad if you look after it properly.
It's high maintainance though.

And the most commonly used OS so most software revolves around it, somewhat.
Hence the advantages of dual-booting with 'dows.

I haven't seen an OSX installation.
But I'd imagine building a 'dows pc is somewhat easier than building a mac.
