Well being a true Maiden fan and therefore receiving the Iron Maiden Fan Club magazine i have discovered something very interesting, controversial, and altogether absolutely awesome!
That is all i will say on the matter!

This gig was absolutly awesome! And if you've spoken to H you've probablly already heard about it a thousand times! But it's worth it!
I know someone said on the forum, "I don't they will play many of the songs of the new album live" (that is paraphrased), well they couldn't be more wrong with the whole album being played from start to finish! And yes it does work!
I may well be slightly biased as i think its a bloody good album and is as good as some of their greats! Also as Bruce said they haven't sold as many tickets to gigs since Number of the Beast!
The entirity of "A Matter of Life and Death" was followed up a few classics! Namely, Fear of the dark! Iron Maiden, 2 Minutes to Midnight, The evil that men do! and finally the epic Hallowed be thy name! A bloody great song to end the evening on!
Along with Bruce's usual random ranting about life, namely bollocks like Reality shows, (do i detect a dig at sharon osbourne!), but also a promise of a Maiden festival, its location? A muddy field somewhere! Wahey!
A really awesome gig, and different again from when I saw them last (Reading 2005). Can't wait to see what they have up their sleeves next!
p.s. Oh yer and trivium were pretty good too! Like the new stuff alot!
