Support Band: Edguy - these guys fucking ruled! Totally my kind of band, very maiden-esque, heavy, melodic kick-ass metal - wanted to have their babies by the end of their set - great with the crowd, would recommend to anyone.
And the main event, Dragonforce. What can I say? They very awesome - I have never seen such an active crowd, and their stage prescence was fantastic - vocals near flawless, guitar work was excellent, and I loved the little touch when their bassist came on with a guitar and started shredding too - was awesome awesome awesome - im not a huge power metal fan, but for a live show it was great - and unlike some live bands, they are just as good live and they are in studio, if not better, because you get the whole atmosphere with the music. Fucking ace!

I must agree.
Edguy completely rocked. I didn't know about them beforehand but I guess a lot of people were in the same boat. However, I've started seeing their t-shirts around the place and I must say I'm not surprised.
Dragonforce, however, ruled totally and utterly. I believe at one point they geeked out with the Pacman tune (old skool gamage!) - I remember some dude near me yelling "MARIO" - dude, get the references right. They played around a little bit and did it all well. Funfunfun!

I don't actually know, but I'm not sure their style would fit with Opeth so well...I like both bands, but meh...

Edguy were actually better than DragonForce, in my opnion, but I'd best not start another "DragonForce Sucks!" debate.

I have to admit I agree, mainly cos Edguy played more my type of music - but that doesn't mean dragonforce didn't rock too...

I think Dragonforce are just the bigger name and have a better stage prescence.

in my opinion edguy were the far better band on the tour. tobias is one one of the best frontmen ever.
dragonforce were good but i found them a bit boring after a while. it also annoyed that half the crowd didnt know heart of the dragon and looked completly lost.
