I know its geeky, but it always a question that i am in trigued to know the answer for and why it is so. It always nice to chat about other peoples favourites and they are usually ones i've never read so i ewn dup going out and reading the things on recommendation.
At the moment my favourite it probably Sir Gwain and the Green Knight, by Tolkein. Its awesome. As it a translation its in the style of the sagas, so it s little tricky to read but its like you can here someone inside your head singing it. And it s a bloody good story. Definitly recommended if you can get hold of it.

Not really fiction, but I'm currently reading "The World According to Clarkson" which I must say is bloody hilarious, and so true...well worth a read for anyone who loves the guy, and hates health and safety and all this americanism which is eating up our country!

Gotta be Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy!

One of the best series of books i've read (although they aren't really proper books as they are manga!) is Hellsing! Awesome drawings and characters and lots vampries been blown apart! Worth reading although a little pricey at about 9 quid a book!
p.s. My avatar is the main character!

Well, if we are thinking along those lines, then the best graphic novel i have read and am still reading actually has to that of V for Vendetta. Its awesome, its bitter, its twisted and so much better than the film although th film is fantasmic.

I have, at last, managed to find another copy of Snow White and the Seven Samurai. Class book.
Also Execution Hour, Necropolis and Dark Genesis: Birth of the Psi Corps. I also read Dragon Search and the first trilogy of the Star Wars books so much when I wa a young 'un that the spines have just about given in.
