What are your top five favouritist albums?
I'm limiting this to metal, to avoid glorious indecision by reducing the number of available arists.
Anyway, mine:
Painkiller- Judas Priest A Night At the Opera- Blind Guardian Brave New World- Iron Maiden (toss up with Number of the Beast...) Master of Puppets- Metallica The Triumph of Steel- Manowar
Special mentions to Crimson Thunder by Hammerfall and Silicon Messiah by Blaze.
And looking back on this list ,I realise how much my musical base relies on Chris' generosity. Cheers, mate!

You are welcome my friend Just 5? If Appetite for Destruction is metal the it goes in, if not Painkiller Crimson Thunder I spent a while investigating which Metallica and Maiden albums were the highest rated and most played but I've forgotten which they were. Insert two good Metallica and Maiden albums here. Last one is hard. Tempted by A Night at the Opera.

I too have pilfed massive quantities from Chris. I think I actually bought about two albums all of last year.
Excluding live and compilation albums:
Judas Priest – Angel of Retribution Iron Maiden – Seventh Son of a Seventh Son Judas Priest – Painkiller Crimson Thunder – Hammerfall The Triumph of Steel – Manowar
For I am a weirdo amongst wierdos.

Judas Priest – Panikiller OMG, Rob Halford's come to murder our lunch! Tee hee. Appetite of Destruction counts for the purposes of this thread. It is not in any other way metal, however.
